Roughly the mowable area, not the lot size. A quarter acre is about 10,900 sq ft. Leave blank to skip this check.

Percent, not degrees: a slope that rises 1 ft over 4 ft is 25%. Leave blank if you are not sure.

Worth measuring separately. Several manufacturers rate the boundary far lower than the middle of the lawn — as little as 10% — and that is usually what actually rules a mower out.

Installation
Are you willing to bury a perimeter wire?
Can you mount an RTK antenna or reference station?

Many wire-free mowers need a small antenna on a pole or wall with a clear view of the sky, wired back to the charging dock. Some newer models replace it with a correction service instead — the next question.

Is the maker's network correction service available at your lawn?

Some wire-free mowers replace the property antenna with a positioning-correction service delivered over the mobile network. This is not the same as ordinary phone reception — the manufacturer has to cover your address. Check the model's coverage map if you are not sure.
